Our little peanut is officially off and running, well at least walking! She took her first 'real' steps on January 8th and has spent the whole month practicing and getting up enough courage to really take off! Although she is still not confidently walking all of the time, she is definitely done with the traditional crawl. She'll scoot with one knee to the nearest contraption, pull herself up, and then cruise around. I have been so anxious for her to reach all of her 'milestones,' but I have to say, this one leaves me a little sad. I can't believe the crawling days are already over. She may still be a very petite peanut, but she is definitely growing up, and I think it's about time she slows down already!!
