Am I allowed to do a quarter recap? Moving = free pass.
Our little man continues to be such a joy. Here are some quick highlights.
5 months brought his first tooth on the actual day! It was followed days later by his second bottom tooth. Kyleen broke her first tooth at 8 1/2 months so he has her beat by just a little! Poor guy battled his second cold with croup- it seems that his "bark" is the go to every cold we get. Wonderful.
6 months brings a much better sleeper! Hallelujah! He is finally getting into a set routine, with some much needed sleep training. It is has been hard to establish routines with our life being so hectic and not in our own house. He is settling in to 2 naps a day and sleeping about 9 hours, waking up to eat, and then sleeping another 3. Can't complain. Little man is sitting up sturdily but shows no interest or desire to move (just the way we like it.) Started solids just before 6 months and saying this boy likes to eat is an understatement. He screams if the spoon hesitates for even a second! Despite his heave appetite he is just in the 15th percentile for weight.
7 months and finally home! We are officially in our new house, and Carson must love his new set up because he has been sleeping great! He still eats like a champ, and is eating at least 2 meals a day. Just like his 5 month birthday, 7 months brought a top tooth. Shortly after he got his second top tooth. I really want to shove these ones back in because it makes him look so grown up. Carson's favorite activity these days is probably tubbies with his sissy! He just laughs and squeals at her the whole time! He definitely has the desire to be on the move, and does a great 360 scoot but still struggling with the forward motion. It probably doesn't help that I have NO desire for him to be crawling so I do little to help and or encourage. Oh, how it is different with number 2!
