Our bubbers, buddy, little man, bubba, Cars... a smile spreads across my face just thinking of you, our little blondie. You have brought our family such immense joy this past year. You complete our family of four in the most perfect way.
From the day you were born you have been the most laid back, happy, go-with-the-flow type of boy. You came out the best cuddle bug, and we are so thankful you still love snuggling up close to us. Your sensitive spirit comes out when you hear the word no or someone takes something from you. The devastating look on your face is priceless. Don't be fooled by your sweet personality- you are as rough as a little boy can get. You go full speed all day- walking, climbing, running, bouncing, banging to your heart's content. I've already lost count of the bloody lips, goose eggs, scratches, bumps, and bruises. Nothing phases you Cars. A perfect day for you involves your sissy, doggie, balls, and playing outside. Throw in a tub at the end of the day and you are one happy man! You continue to be the best eater- you are quite impressive how much you can shove in your mouth at one time! Despite our best efforts, no lovie for you- just an intense obsession with your pacifier.
Your tricks are slowly starting to emerge every day. You are understanding so much more these days. Just to make sure we don't forget all that you do.... (by 13 months)
-Says Dada clearly ALL THE TIME (not bitter at all); dodo for doggie on good days
-points to communicate with with some grunting
-points out birds and planes (will run to the screen if he hears any plane fly by)
-runs to the bathroom if he hears the word "tubbie"
-LOVES "his" baby's first words book. Will find this book in the shelf of many, and bring to you and sit in your lap to point at different objects
-gives amazing open mouth kisses to momma, dadda, sissy and of course Indy
-give high fives
-dances on command
-will wave hi/bye from time to time
-can successfully shove more Pirate's Booty (aka baby crack) in his mouth than any person I know!
-does a pow wow sound with his hand (though prefers to grab someone else's and do it with their hand on his mouth)
We feel so blessed to be your mom and dad and we can't wait to see what the next year holds for you! We love you Carson Thomas

Birthday fun... play date with Casey...while his new sister Kendall was being born :)
Then dinner and feeding duckies at Lake Poway, followed by homemade cupcakes made by big sister.
Party time....
2 weeks later our little man had his "official" party.
Carson was blessed to be born into the busiest birthday week every for our family!
Better late than never!
