Happy Father's Day!

Such an amazing Dad!
We started the day with breakfast at the beach and a walk, and ended the day visiting Big Don and Papa Tom. Kyleen is definitely turning into a daddy's girl :)

Summer is here!

I went back to work for the last week of school... mostly to prove to myself I could do it come September. :) Regardless, we decided to celebrate summer with a beach trip on my last day. Cindy and Frankie brought the little one to me and we had a fun afternoon at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar.

3 Months

So much personality this little one has, and each day it seems to come out more and more. Big accomplishment this month: We're a rolling!!!

Two Months Down!

Big accomplishment of the month: Finding her smile, voice, and laugh!

Here goes nothing... Month 1

In my efforts to fast forward to the present,

here is a quick recap and sampling of pictures from each month.

We were so blessed from the start with Kyleen. From her first few hours in the hospital, to her first few weeks at home, we rarely heard a cry. She loved to be swaddled, spread out on the couch, held, in her swing, wherever, however! After about a week with Kyleen at home, Dan said to me one night while lying in bed, "I know it's going to get a lot harder, but so far its pretty easy." :) From the start, she has been an incredibly alert baby, taking in everything and everyone around her.

Where to begin?

So, when one is late on jumping on the 'blog bandwagon' it leaves a very troubling question of just how far to go back in time. Although I am tempted to post a wedding picture or two here, I know I need to be realistic. Considering it has taken me over a week to find the time to figure all this out and compose one post, I think I need to set a little more attainable goal... so March 12th it is! The day our little peanut arrived. The day did not go quite as planned, but after 5 hours of labor, and one emergency c-section, all 5lbs 10oz of her arrived absolutely perfect!
