We are loving experiencing all of the holiday magic with Kyleen! It gives a whole new meaning to the season. We took Kyleen to see Santa this past weekend, and to be quite honest, I was a little nervous. Kyleen is at that age where she A) hates strangers and B) typically hates all men (except her daddy of course). Not a good combination for the man in red. Thanks to Tori's GREAT insider tip we headed over to the Carlsbad Forum Shops... visiting Santa is free, you take your own pictures, it's so not crowded, and most importantly the Santa looks like the real guy! Santa had me sit on his lap with her at first (despite my attempts to refuse)- he definitely looked nervous to hold her. When I finally did put her on, she was SO serious, as you can see below. I couldn't get her to crack a smile for the life of me. She did great for a few pics then realized we weren't holding her. She absolutely lost it when she turned around to see Santa, but not before we had captured the moment. Here is our little elf...
